Can we not just change the world?
In light of recent events it brings into perspective how
sheltered and disconnected we can be from the rest of the world. Do you ever
sit around and think what am I doing here? Could I not change the world? Are
the people that surround me every day from 8-9 possibly the answer?
In a social medium where networking and connecting is not
always authentic I ask you, are you making a difference? I often struggle with
that question myself. Are we standing up for those who are too scared to speak
up against adversity? When you hear hate do you raise your voice.
If there is enough love to come together and overpower the
hate on social and in the world why do we not reach across the world without atrocities,
we should.
Je suis a place I have never been. I know a few people from
Paris and though we have known each other a short time, this still deeply saddens
me.
I have always had a deep love of the world and the cultures
in it, as it is simply natural to embrace and celebrate the human spirit, no
matter where in the world or who you meet. We don't need more followers or more likes, we need more love for humanity.
Tonight Je Suis Paris and J'aime le monde. Who knows maybe you or me could change the world. Or maybe together we can make a difference. <3
